Shopping for a car is a big deal, especially, if you're
seeking the best price and model.
Online car site iSeeCars.com, which bills itself as a
"car search engine to make the process easier and smarter," analyzed
15.7 million used cars for sale to come up with a top-10 list by Japan auction agents.
Experts at iSeeCars.com say buying a 1-year-old model over a
new car could mean savings from $6,800 to $37,600, depending on the model. In
addition, other advantages of buying used cars include less immediate
depreciation and lower auto insurance, according to caranddriver.com, a car
review site.
A report by Edmunds.com 2014 Car Shopping Trend Report shows
Americans are likely to buy a car based on the vehicle itself, price financing
and the automaker's reputation.
Also, expect a dramatic supply of used cars this year from
off-lease vehicles, Automotive News reports.
